Twilio powers Velora's SMS and phone number infrastructure. We use the Programmable Messaging API for outbound SMS with 10DLC A2P registration handled at onboarding, and the Voice API for outbound dialing when AI voice agents need a non-SIP path.
Inbound SMS webhooks verify the X-Twilio-Signature header on every request, rejecting unsigned or invalid-signed requests at the boundary. Phone-number pools are managed per-agency; spam-likely flags from Hiya / First Orion feeds auto-retire numbers when they cross a configurable threshold.
